Cut Resistant Gloves made from Dyneema Fiber

Believe it or not, Dyneema is the world strongest fiber! It is classified as a high-performance polyethylene.  While Dyneema doesn't hold up to friction heat very well, the fiber is as good as they come. Body armour, vehicle armour, Dyneema fiber in cut resistant gloves, the application and uses goes on and on.

  • Resistance to most chemicals
  • Low density
  • Invisible to ultra-violet light sources and thermal imaging devices
  • Floats on water
  • Smooth to the touch
  • Fire resistant and self-extinguishing
  • Can withstand extreme cold and hot temperatures

The Great White 3GX 19-D322 glove is just a awesome example of how Dyneema light weight, Chemical resistance and smoothness is a great application. In environments where safety material is needed, Kevlar and Aramid have done an excellent job, but there's a new kid on the block, Dyneema. Dyneema is the only High Modulus Polyethylene fiber producer that makes the base polymer and spins the actual yarn used to knit gloves.
